We’ve noticed some common mistakes being made when using Xero and would like to avoid these if possible!

Making transfers between two bank accounts
You only need to code a transfer in the first bank account, and Xero will update the second! You will then need to match it in the second bank account, and do it straight away. We’re not saying it’s magic, but it’s pretty clever.
Using ‘unreconcile’ to fix a mistake
Please don’t! This leads to doubling up in the final bank rec. Just select ‘remove and redo’ instead.
